Just wondering if there is anyone on here applying?? I took my HESI today and my cumulative score was 87%. I pray that is high enough to get me accepted. Just have to wait till the end of November to find out. I would love to chat with some people that are in the same predicament as me!

Hey I wanted to apply to BCC's RN program. Can someone help me with the steps to apply? Thanks a bunch I'm very confused on what I need to do. dde30

The best first step is to print out an application fill it out and begin requesting copies of your official transcripts from other colleges and high schools you've attended. Make sure you are meeting all of the pre requisites needed to apply for the program. If you can it is really best to visit ******in A123 she can give you all the necessary steps, deadlines and requirements. I personally had issues submitting things online and found it best to hand everything into the office of admissions in person. A quick e-mail to ****requesting info should get you started. Also check bergens website for health professionals info sessions. They will walk you through each step. Good luck! Don't worry applying is the easy part!

to those who are in the first class, i went to webadvisor and found some handouts, question is, do we need to print out the handouts for the pharmacology class(NUR-182-601) or will it be provided?

I am in section 602 I'm slightly confused I noticed a bunch of lecture notes for Nur 183 on moodle posted by Professor ****..but I am confused where to find materials or a syllabus for Nur 181 physical assessment I have Professor ********* anyone else trying to get a master calendar of all three classes tests, validations and chapters that need to be read together?

kaitlyn, maybe its not ready yet. dont worry about the physical assesment for now. the first test would be on pharmacology on measurements and conversions

I definitely think it would be helpful to create a group or thread for each nursing section 602 and 601... Either on allnurses or Facebook or some other site to post reminders/helpful things we come across... Thoughts?

I think that'd be pretty handy. I don't have a Facebook though and just have a thing against it so I wouldn't be using that, lol.And I was wondering, since most of us here are basically in the same class, what are everyone's first names so we can identify each other in class (if that's allowed on this site of course)?PS: Sorry for my absence from this thread. Just been really busy lately.

Of course no secret or privacy behind my name its Kaitlyn!

Lol, I'm Chris. :)

Several posts in this thread have been edited to remove the names of professors and other school personnel. As per the site terms of service that were agreed to when signing up :

"Information About Others: No potentially libelous information about specific schools, instructors, or health care facilities/entities should be posted in these forums. While it is important to be able to network, everyone should be mindful of the following:

  1. It is a small world - when we narrow it down to a state and throw in some personal info, there is actually a pretty good chance someone may recognize you if you are not careful. Your privacy is paramount to us.
  2. While this site is a wonderful place to vent (without excess personally identifiable details) it is not the place to express why ("x" specific person, place or program) is terrible. Gripe away, but since we cannot permit allegations to be made about named entities, your care in not naming them is very much appreciated.
  3. Please do not give out personal identifying information about yourself or others. Do not name names where anyone could identify any person in any facility including your nursing programs or place of employment."

Thank you for your cooperation and good luck as you begin your nursing education.
