1199 benefits in NY

Recently Licensed Practical Nurse hoping to secure an 1199 position in NY. I heard the benefits are great especially in healthcare and school assistance that extends to family even! any advice towards securing a position and at which hospital/nursing home as a new lpn would be greatly appreciated.

They pay for school there cover most of ur healthcare they pay for childcare u can join there credit union and much more

Aha, but you can't fill scripts at CVS with 1199, at least for 2013 year. Ohh the drawbacks

Then go to another pharmacy Lol I can't recall a time when my insurance card wasn't excepted I may had to wait because the pharmacy didn't have it. I've in the union 7 years now

Yeah I had to turn someone down because they had 1199 insurance and her scripts weren't billable by our pharmacy. Sad stuff
