Benefits depend on who you're working for. "Big" employers, like hospitals, typically offer a "full service" package of benefits. If you're working for a small outfit like a doctor's office, there may be very limited benefits.
It's been many years since I've gotten, from any employer, anything I would consider a "great health care package." The health coverage I've gotten has been better than what lots of other people have, but far from "great."

i am applying to nursing schools now. i was wondering if new RNs get decent job benefits such as health care, retirement, tuition reimbursement, etc? i would assume they get a great health care package. is this true? i have some preexisting health problems, so i need good health insurance.
