At a nursing home, the staff closes residents' doors before the body of a deceased resident is wheeled out---
Is this an example of Beneficence??

Ew. How I hate trying to figure out the ethical principle that matches a given scenario! It always seems like an argument can be made to fit any scenario with any of the ethical principles.
I'll give it a go anyway.
I would go with either non-maleficence or confidentiality on this one, but I would lean toward non-maleficence. I won't give you my reasoning, though. :)
thanks... trying to figure this stuff out... so would answering a call bell fast of every client be an example?
It always helps to fully understand the definition of each principle. Based on your replies here, I feel like you are grasping at scenarios without fully understanding the principles.
Your second example is closer to beneficence, but I'm sure there are better, more substantial examples you could come up with.
Out of curiosity, is your assignment requiring you to give examples of what you've done in clinical for each ethical principle?
We are putting things in sections to help us understand them... ... :) appreciate the help.... still new at this.
