Belmont University Fall 2016 ABSN program

Published

Hello, I just turned in my application for Belmonts ABSN program fall 2016. Has anyone else applied?

Hey, I just got an email saying I'm an alternate. Not what I was hoping for but I'm happy there is still a chance!

Hi everyone,

I just received an email saying I was accepted into the 2016 Fall ABSN program! I'm a little hesitant about sending the deposit because of the tuition cost and I would be coming from out of state so I am not familiar with the area/housing options.. I also haven't completed the religion prerequisites..

Anyone else applying from out of state? or general thoughts on the program?

Thanks!!! :-)

Hey, I just got the same as well. I'm kinda down about it but hopefully we get off of it. I actually have known a lot of people who get accepted there and don't end up going. But who knows

@ekells

I'm from California and also don't know the area well at all! I'm visiting in April to check out the housing situation as well as learn more about the program. I've heard really good things and they have a really high NCLEX pass rate (something like 96%)!

I also still will have to complete one religion prerequisite while at Belmont.

I think if you're considering it, putting down the deposit (albeit expensive) might be a good idea so you can keep your options open while you consider!

Hi guys! I know I'm late to the game here, but I have been accepted to the Fall '16 cohort at Belmont for ABSN. I completed my application in November and heard on February 3rd that I had been accepted. Right now that looks where I am headed -- good luck to the rest of you, got my fingers crossed and you'll do incredible things no matter where you end up!

congrats on your acceptant to Belmont emmyrb!! What made you decide on Belmont? I put down the deposit but am really hesitant because of the cost. Did you apply anywhere else?

@julfoster , I would love to hear what you think about the campus/program after your visit in April! :) I also have to complete the religion prerequisite

I currently live in the Nashville area! I also applied to Union University's ABSN program (their main campus is in Jackson, Tennessee but they have a satellite campus in Hendersonville, Tennessee (about 30 minutes North of Nashville). They also have a Germantown (outside of Memphis) location I believe. But I was wanting to stay in Nashville so I decided on Belmont.

Hi everyone! I am a 4 year BSN student currently in Philadelphia. My fiance just received a phenomenal job offer in Nashville and I am considering applying to Belmont's Accelerated BSN program. I have a previous degree, so I am eligible to that extent, however I have obviously missed the January application deadline since I just found out about our potential move this week. I know that they accept on a rolling basis after January, but I am not sure if I am too late. I was hoping that anyone who has been accepted, waitlisted, or rejected either recently or in the past, would be kind enough to share their GPA so that I can try to understand my chances of getting in. I am open to a 2017 start, however since I am an older student I would really prefer to start as soon as possible.

Does anyone know of any other programs that are well respected? Being from out of town has made it somewhat difficult to compare programs effectively. Belmont seems like such a great program and everything I read has really swayed my heart in that direction. My world has kind of been turned upside down, so any tips, advice, or insight is so greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Hi everyone!

I received an email around 2 weeks ago saying that I was an alternate for the ABSN program for the fall of 2016. I am just curious if anyone else is an alternate and if anyone has heard back about being accepted off of the waitlist. The timeline I was given to possibly be accepted was anywhere between this month and August so I am getting antsy haha. Any info would be appreciated :)

Hey guys!

I will be moving from Portland to Nashville in Aug to get started on this wonderful ABSN program. If there are any others have been accepted and are from out of state/looking for a roommate/have any helpful advice, I would love to get in touch :)

Hi!

My name is Lauren and I am from Seattle. I actually did my undergrad degree at Concordia University in Portland!

I have been wait listed as of now but if I am given a spot I will be starting Belmont's ABSN program in the fall as well! Would love to exchange email addresses:)
