  1. So exciting! Ya know, I'm really not sure... I never got a chance to ask. Although, I'm pretty sure that the PICU usually only takes residents once a year but I don't know much detail beyond that.
  2. Hey! Congrats, that's awesome! With what specialty? I was just asked to submit references and a disclosure form via email last week but nothing since.
  3. You also had a second interview with the PICU or another specialty? I graduated in December of 2017 so pretty recent but not fresh and I have a few months of nursing experience.
  4. Thank you so much! When applying to the residency, I applied for NICU/PICU, acute care peds and women's services, but I only interviewed with the nurse managers from Peds ER and PICU when the interview day came. It was challenging trying to get to all of my areas of interest within the given hour so unfortunately, I had to prioritize.
  5. I was invited back for a second interview with the PICU and was contacted last Friday! My interview is tomorrow.
  6. Lauren, Ah! I love to hear there are fellow PNW residents. Shoot me an email- [email protected]. I hope you get off the wait list! Fingers crossed for ya
  7. Hey guys! I will be moving from Portland to Nashville in Aug to get started on this wonderful ABSN program. If there are any others have been accepted and are from out of state/looking for a roommate/have any helpful advice, I would love to get in touch :)
