I think it was med surg and PCU. I actually reached out to a recruiter yesterday asking about how the program works and she just replied. This is what she said: We are continuously hiring RN Residents and we match your applications to open positions- based on your chosen specialty and location.We’ll be sending you a message once we receive feedbacks from the hiring managers. I guess it's also a waiting game lol

I applied to the general residency application early November and heard back I would say within 2 weeks for a position in the cardiology unit but wasn't selected for further consideration. When they contact you, they ask you if your interested in being considered for the unit available and then it goes on from there.

Yeah I applied to specific units but also was invited for further consideration of other units but I haven't moved forward to an in person interview. So there's no specific start date or a set of units available, that is frustrating ?

Happy new year! Not related to your question but I'm curious to know, When did you apply for Providence? I applied since November and it's still at "we are reviewing your application" status. Just wondering if there's a certain start date for the program.

Yeah I had the same problem too. I'm waiting for medical specialties at Emanuel. Really? I tried interviewing there but they always had a line so I didn't have the opportunity to interview. Thank you!!

Congratulations!! That's so exciting. How long did you wait after your reference checks to get an offer? I hope that's the case for me lol. Its been 2 weeks now since I completed mine and haven't heard back so who knows. If I didn't get it, it would be nice to know sooner than later ?

Hey guys! Just curious to know if you or someone you know has received a job offer into the program yet?

Some questions were similar like the first interview and some were new. I can't remember every question but the ones I do remember are, describe a mistake that you made and what you did to resolve it, and describe a time when your good intentions were misunderstood. I hope that helps!

RnLz123 Hey congrats to you too! I was told they would let candidates know before Christmas. But that was for medical specialties, I think it depends on where you applied. I actually got an email today for references so it depends on the unit and their availability. They do have until mid January according to the paper we got on our first round interviews. But I hope you hear back sooner than that!

Silly me I misunderstood. I thought you had already had a second interview. But yes I wouldn't lose hope yet, there's still time left. ?
