Belmont Accelerated BSN Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi guys!! I just got accepted to Belmont's Fall 2018 accelerated BSN program and was looking for other people that have been accepted or are planning to apply!

Thank you!! I applied to Virginia Commonwealth, Quinnipiac, and Moravian but Belmont is my first choice! What about you?

oh okay that's awesome you got in then :) and i am applying to the medical university of south carolina and belmont that's it! it's hard because a lot of school have different prerequisites.

Ah good luck!!! MUSC is a great school also! But yea, the prerequisite thing sucks, especially when some schools require chem 2 and some don't!! I decided not to take chem 2 so it did limit some of my options

I am just now looking into this program. Can someone give me information on it-Ive never heard of it before. Is it accredited? Is it a good school? Good location? Good academics? How religious is it?

Yes, it is accredited. I heard nothing but great things from people that went through their nursing program, as well as, what I have read online. Nashville is a great city in general, but I know the Belmont Area is extremely nice from what I have heard. I am not sure how religious it is, but I do not think it would affect academics; however, you do have to take 6 credits of religion to apply. At least 3 must be completed before you matriculate into the program. I chose to apply to this school, because I have all the prereq's without having to take several extra classes. What other programs are you applying to?

I just got accepted too! I still need to take Chemistry in the spring and both religion classes. The chemistry is easy to find, but I'm having a hard time tracking down where to take the religion classes. Have you taken yours yet? Any suggestions?

Hi Brhea3, I am currently in New Testament! They told me that I can complete the 2nd religious course during the winter term of the program!

what was your gap from undergrad? and when did you apply? I am sending in my application tomorrow but was just wondering how long it took for you to hear back!

I meant GPA* not gap haha

I currently have a 3.417 GPA but I'm still a senior in my undergrad program. I applied September 5th and heard back September 29th!

Did you include your resume in you application? I uploaded all of my experiences and all the stuff just right into the application, but I wasn't sure if I should include my resume as well, since it will just have all the same things on it.

I uploaded mine!
