Tiffany, congratulations on your growing family! If you're interested in the spring cohort I'm sure you could e-mail or call Jorja and ask to have your application rolled. I asked her to do that for me just in case I wasn't accepted, but did it before the deadline. Jorja is really nice though and I'm sure she would be willing to do that for you.

I've read in past threads for BC that some students from winter cohort get offered spaces in the fall cohort, possibly from students changing their minds last minute. I wonder if that will help move the winter waitlist along quicker if that happens. I know school is about to start to chances are a little slim, but I'm hopeful!

Congrats on the baby! Sorry, I'm new to this forum. I just found out about this. Too bad I didn't earlier. It would have helped with the anxiety I got from waiting.

Hi all,

I received my letter today. Wait-listed again! this time, I'm #22. I emailed Jorja, hoping to be considered for Spring, because her advice in the letter states that the first 10-15 applicants usually get in. I keep making the same mistake of not registering in time to retake the TEAS. So I've asked for the ability to retake and submit by Dec 1. My GPA is highly competitive, and I do have NAC licensure and some working hours. I know my 83 TEAS is the tie breaker that keeps me on the losing side.

Good luck to anyone else on here! And again, congrats to those who are in and ready to start their new adventure!!!

Any advice i can give to anyone reading this is : There are a lot of highly competent and SMART students we are competing against. Don't think your GPA will make it for you :) Make sure your TEAS is in the 90s.

Tiffany- what do you mean that the 10-15 applicants first get in? Is that those from the waitlist?

I still haven't gotten a letter, but I did call Jorja and found out unfortunately I did not get in. What was your point count? I am pleased they are letting us be considered for the next application cycle. Hope you get in!

I just got my letter today. I'm number 11 on the waitlist which is an improvement! Fingers and toes are crossed that I get in! I've also asked to be considered for spring though just in case.

Chicoperson, if people who were accepted choose to go to another school then a spot opens up for the first person in line on the waitlist. Usually there are a hand full of people who go else where.

I've been waitlisted too! I am #7. The letter I received does state that GENERALLY the top 10-15 WAITLISTED applicants get in. I have emailed her as well about being considered for the spring cohort cycle.

I saw on the BC website that they accepted the top 5 students. Have you made it in? Just curious how they've been moving along. :)

Unfortunately, I have not heard back from Bellevue College. I've been checking my email daily, and this forum post ;/. I will be sending an email to Jorja next week to get an update on the waitlist status.

In the meantime, if I receive anything, or if Jorja sends me additional information next week, Ill keep you posted!
