Beginner PDA

Nursing Students General Students

Hey to all you nursing students.

I go to orientation on Monday to start my new journey to LPN school. :monkeydance:

I've gotten all my books, uniforms and basic supplies for school, which begins on July 5th. I am interested in getting a PDA. I don't really want something expensive, with a lot of functions I won't really use. Just something to download care plans, pharmacology, dictionary, etc. What's a good in expensive brand I could get that some of you may be using. I've been searching online, but it's gotten so confusing. Is Sony good?

Any advice would be appreciated

i have to say i love my palm tungsten too. i originally got the dell axim but it was too much technology for me! some instructors don't let you use them in clinicals but so far i haven't had anybody tell me no (we'll see second year).

palm vs. pc question:

i had that same question a year ago. what i found is that most things come in both these days. http://www.skyscape.com has tons of stuff (you pay, not free) in both formats

I'm in the LPN program and just found out i can't use my books at the hospital while at clinicals, b/c there is no room. So i was wondering, how easy is it to get books downloaded on a PDA, say the davis drug guide?

Thanks
