Becoming an RN in Atlanta

I am a college graduate with a BBA. I am in the Atlanta area and I am looking to get into nursing. The thing is I am 25yrs old and I feel that I may be late startnig my career and may have to work until I am 70.

I am looking at becoming an RN. Can anyone suggest some good schools or the quickest route to get accepted? I have to take the science pre reqs

Gordon College is in Barnesville,Georgia. It's pretty far but a lot of people travel from all over Atlanta to go there so it's fairly easy to find a carpool buddy. They have an excellent ADN program. I personally would just go for the ADN or BSN first.

Wow thats far! I am new here so I dont know anyone. I am on the waiting list for Atlanta tech and Dekalb Tech but its really long. GA perimeter has the 2 year RN so maybe I will go sign up, its competitive in nature so they take the people with the highest gpa.

Dont worry about not knowing anyone here! You make friends real quick in nursing school...believe me!!

Ga Perimeter is a really good school the best in the state of Ga as far as the passing rate on the NCLEX (100% for the last 4 years). I just graduated this may took my NCLEX in June & now I'm a RN. I started in June of 2006 & finished May of 2007. I have no student loans which is great coming out of nursing school!
