I am getting ready to apply to a couple of BSN programs, and will hopefully start a program in the fall of 2018. I am trying to prepare for both the interview and school by becoming more informed about life as a nurse. I would love any favorite sources for books, newsletters, websites, etc about all things nursing - current events, ethical discussions, memoirs, etc as well as any other ideas on how to become more familiar with/fluent in what nursing is all about.
Thank you!

This website is a great source of information, and where I get 99% of my info. I read books, too - like this one: I Wasn't Strong Like This When I Started Out: True Stories of Becoming a Nurse - Kindle edition by Lee Gutkind. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.
That book looks great, I just requested it from the library. I agree that this site has been such an incredible source of information for me. It's really useful for when I'm looking for something specific, but I think things like this book will be helpful in helping me to get a feel for nursing as a job. Thanks again!
