I am taking mine this summer through Metro Community College, but I know if you take a job as a CNA at some of the nursing homes they have classes they provide to get your license.
But, I found it on SEC's site! (Wow, that was a pain) here is the web address...

Here is the brochure...

They call it a basic nursing assistant course... My Mom took it back in the 90's and she's the one who told me it had to be there!
First one starts in April...
Good Luck! :)
I'm doing the same... :) I am taking my CNA at Metro in July-Aug of this year (5 weeks Sat and Sun, I will be going 7 days a week between work and school!). I hope to get on as a PCT at my hospital after that so I can cut back my hours. If you take it before then you'll have to keep me posted, let me know how it goes since I am beyond nervous! LOL

Anyone know how to go about getting a CNA in NE? I've looked for SCC and cannot find any info on this. I know that Bryan school offers a class about 3 1/2 weeks long in the summer time to get certified to be a CNA. Or maybe is there on-job training that anyone knows of to be certified to be a CNA?
I'm going to school to be an RN and the school I want to go to prefers that students have their CNA before becoming an RN just so they know if they really will like it or not..
Thanks in advance!
