check out the following letter i sent to shape magazine and physiciansformula.com:
dear physicians formula
why on earth would you use such a stereotypical demeaning representation of nursing for your advertisement in a magazine that looks to appeal to a mainly female population, in the may 2004 issue of shape magazine? the antiquated hat (another symbol of hated subservient symbology no nurse would be caught dead wearing in this day and age), the fishnet stockings, the plunging neckline and elevated hemline with the obvious phallic symbol in her left hand, is a stereotyped male fantasy right out of a xxx Media film.
