BCG and TB Questions (3 please & ty!!)

Hi,

1. Why do foreigners who have received BCG get positive TB tests? Can someone explain the patho of this PLEASE.
   
2. Also, each year are we given a different strain of the TB test?
   
3. Since TB can remain latent in the system, can't it backfire and can't the patient end up with TB if one day they become of advanced age, immunocompromised etc?

So you have many TB questions. As a student what has your research into the pathophysiology of TB shown you? Have you reviewed the CDC website on TB and the references included there?
