Air Hi all! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing student applying into BCC's program for fall of 2018! What other schools are you applying to? What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current students, if you have any advice or insight on the program?

Hi everyone! I'm Melissa. I'm super nervous. My GPA is around 3.85 and I still have phys and micro left, I'm taking stats and philosophy right now. I can't wait until we find out! Good luck to us all!

Hi Melissa thanks for joining! I have micro left also, i know A lot of girls who made it in last year without it. As long as you have your pre reqs done í ½í¹‚

By 2nd batch...i meant how the separate groups one 3.5 and higher then, 3.49 to 3.0...im saying they must be looking into the lower group now..if my application says pending decision😊

Hey girls! Happy February :) Can't believe we'll be finding out sometime this month! I know someone in Admissions and she said mine is pending decision also. So nervous. When do you girls plan to take your micro class? (or any others u still have) I lucked out that all of my classes from way back when I got my bio degree all transferred so all I needed to take was AP I&II. I just hope it doesn't hurt my chances that pretty much all of my courses were taken so long ago. I know it's all out of our hands now but I hate not having control lol. I hope this month goes by quick! Ok going to check my degreeworks haha

Omg I know!! I'm planning on taking mine in the summer. I was going to wait and take it in between the nursing program. Then, I decided I'd much rather have the break in between the program! I don't think it would hurt your chances as long as they we're B- and higher! Right now I'm taking History, child development and A&P 2. micro was my last class. Best to get all the prerequisites out of the way and just focus on the nursing classes! I hope we find by end of next week! I've already checked degree works like 3 times today too lol

I would prob do the same as you Steph! The sooner u can get them over with the better ;) That summer between semesters will prob be the only time we have to even breathe lol. If we all get in we'll hafta meet this summer! We can start studying for that first math test í ½í¸‹

There is some math test at the beginning of the semester that you have to pass. I think you get a few tries though and they will give us all that info at the orientation. My sister said it wasn't bad at all, you just want to study a bit over the summer to refresh your memory of it all. You hafta have a good math understanding for all of the dosage & calculations stuff

(Don't quote me on that though lol) she graduated 2013 so things could possibly be different now! I'm sure we will get alll the info at orientation :)

I hateeeee Math! I have taking algebra and Stats and got an A in both but i don't do well at Math tests!
