BCC nursing 2018

Air Hi all! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing student applying into BCC's program for fall of 2018! What other schools are you applying to? What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current students, if you have any advice or insight on the program?

Last year i got my rejection(no waitlist just flat out rejected) the beginning of February because of the chemistry which i have since repeated so praying i'm good this year! Hurry up Tomorrow!

Degreeworks changed for me on Friday the 16th and I got my acceptance letter Saturday the 17th! Hopefully yours comes in!

It should be at home waiting for me. I left earlier than mail came so now i have to wait till i get home to see! I had a really emotional day yesterday with some personal things going on in my life that i almost don't want to open the letter now in fear of rejection! I can't handle anymore bad news! Praying for good new though! I'm going to have my fiance open the letter tonight

Thank you Margaret! My friend Heather that graduated from BCC nursing program a few years back said i should not worry that i will get in but....i'm still worrying and so upset! I called admissions and they said last year the top 17 waitlisted got in so...i'm hoping this year will be the same! Worried it will put me behind though! Cause there is reading material they give out to read before classes start and info on Math test they hand out at orientation! So she said prepare myself. Get my CPR in June and all my shots and just wait for the call. She had a friend that got a call 3 days before classes started! Although she was behind they dodn't cut her a break and she's couldn't use that as an excuse! So i just need to be ready and Prayyyy in the meantime!

Seriously so bummed for u but 17 is even better than what I would've expected Jamie..You are not out of the running yet please don't give up hope!! I'll send u any info u would need to know just in case! Don't worry about any of that

I am #10 on waitlist. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I plan to get everything i can possibly get done so i can be ready just incase! Thank you Lisa :)

Hi JDO! Sorry you got waitlisted but if u had to be put on the waitlist, that's a pretty good position to be in :) I'd feel good about your chances of getting in! Good luck and let us know! Are u e-health or traditional? Or maybe it would depend on which position opens up first hmm? Our deposits are due by 5/1 so I bet most of u at the beginning of the list will find out in 2 months..

Thank you! I am pretty confident that I will get in given my position.. and I think I will have the choice of Ehealth/traditional given that spots open in both options. I will also hear by May 1st about any spots open!
