BCC nursing 2018

Air Hi all! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing student applying into BCC's program for fall of 2018! What other schools are you applying to? What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current students, if you have any advice or insight on the program?

Hi everyone! So I'm looking into applying to BCCs nursing program for next year (I have some prereqs I need to finish!), but I found this thread and was just looking for some insight. What courses did you complete before you applied? And what were your grades & GPA's like?

I did all the prereqs it says you need , along with my TEAS and have a 3.89 gpa

Hi as! I have a previous biology degree from years ago so the only other classes I needed were AP1 & AP2 (which I'm in now) so I have everything complete other than the nursing classes. My Gpa is a 3.7 You def need all your pre-req's to be finished or your application will be incomplete. And while you don't have to have the other completed, I think the people who do are favored. I know a lot of people leave a class or two for the summer prior to starting but if u can get them all done before actually starting the nursing program I would def suggest that since the nursing classes will be so time consuming as it is. Hello! I did All my pre reqs and all of my core reqs except for micro. It's easist to get as many classes out of the way to make your life easier. I have A 3.97 GPA and my teas exam.

Hi! I have all the prereqs done beside microbiology. I took my TEAS exam this past September and my overall GPA is a 3.61

I have all pre reqs done and some! I graduate in May with Associate in Science degree! I have both A&P's done......Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, algebra & Statistics, psychology, Nutrition, child development, Human Growth & Development, Eng 1&2, History, Sociology (63 Credits worth of classes). Passed my Teas and have a 3.5 GPA. Just waiting on my letter......

Hello! My GPA is 3.97. I have all the general education courses done with the exception of microbio which I am currently taking... Goodluck!!

Thank youuu soooo much! My fiance keeps telling me stop obsessing i got this but i can't help it! I feel like i have already made friendships on here that i would like to continue and of course be the graduating class of 2020 how cool is that?! Thank god my mail comes early about 10-11 am because today has been dragging! And having to wait 3 days from Friday is killing me!!

I bet, that's why I wanted u to know you're in my thoughts! I feel nervous/anxious for ya lol. Last year, were u declined or did u get put on a waiting list? I wonder how many of those people usually end up making it in. Try to stay positive I know it must be hard =\
