Hello all,

I applied to this program within the first week of it opening. I looked at previous articles regarding this program and there was a fairly quick turn around between the submission of the application and the interview process. However, since I applied very early, I am freaking out from the anticipation of it all.

Is anyone else like me so far?

Are y'al receiving the admissions decision via mail or email?

Congrats yall! I'm a current FB student and they will send you more information as you get closer to when you start about places to live/roommate locators. Baylor is very close to the Deep Ellum, Farmer's Market, and Knox/Henderson Neighborhoods. Uptown is also close but is very pricy. The cheapest apartments will require a bit of a drive (like addison) or for you to live near a DART rail. When did they let you know about scholarship information and financial aid? I think most of us are worried about getting approved for loans and getting denied too close to the beginning of the program. The FA office said about April, but the program starts in May....so...?

Some people found out early april and some as late as the first few days of may. Tuition was due may 10th. I wouldnt be too concerned as long as you keep up with your application and make sure it was filled out properly. Endalk Tulu is in charge odfnursing school aid. Oh wow, well thanks for that advice! That helps a lot. Feel free to continue to lend us anything that you think might be helpful including books, class schedule/workload, etc. Haha it is appreciated

I like having physical text books but honestly.... just get the online package. Rent from amazon if you really wsnt a book in your hands. You will try your hardest to read the book in your first two classes. There are not enough hours in the day. Skim and pay attention in lecture. End of sept/beginning of oct is really difficult. Dont schedule anything important. And most of all rely on your classmates. Find people with your work ethic to divide up work and it becomes so much more bearable. Good luck!

I saw a textbook list online but it only listed about 12. Does that last the entire program, or do they release more each semester?

First package is larger. The second book package is released toward the end of the summer and is just a few more books. There are only 2 book purchases. Also, people will sell their scrubs towards the end of the year. No reason to buy new scrubs (i would have a minimum of 2 sets, but reccomend 3).

I applied pretty close to the Jan 15 deadline and got an email from Baylor yesterday saying my application is under review. Do y'all know how long it usually takes to find out if you get an interview?

I also applied late last year. I got an email within about a week. If you meet the minimum qualifications they should bring you in for an interview. I interviewed one of the very last days available and was accepted the following day.
