I submit my application the first week of the month. I received an email letting me know that they received it however I did not get an interview. My HESI score is a 90 overall with an Overall GPA of 3.3 and Science GPA of 3.3. Not sure if that is going to cut it.

I'm a little nervous however, I did graduate college a very long time ago :)

Hi guys,

I submitted my application last week, but transcripts are still in verifying status.

I haven't gotten any email from Baylor yet, but it might be because my application is still not done..

I just took HESI today and scored 100% math 90% vocab, 86% grammar and 84% reading.

Somehow I thought vocab was pretty hard but it turned out better score than I thought it would be.

Did you guys request HESI transcript to be sent to Baylor separately or do they automatically receive the scores by Evolve?

I read on Baylor's website that the student needs to request a HESI score report to be emailed to nursing dept, but Evolve would take at least 7-10 business days to process the request. And HESI scores need to be submitted to Baylor before Nov. 1st.

Please Help!

Hi! I would call nursing cas or email them and find out why your app is still in review.

As far as hesi scores go, as long as you attach a report to Nursing Cas app, you should be ok.

i had mine sent to Baylor last week and they still haven't received them.

I think Baylor looks at all material submitted to Nursing Cas for the interview invite.

Hmmm...

I thought I was supposed to send HESI score separately to Baylor.. At least that is what Baylor website states to do so..

And I don't think there is any place to attach HESI score on NursingCAS application..

When you click on program materials and document tab, It is at the bottom- test score report.

i meant to say you still have to send it directly to Baylor but it's on the nursing cas app as well therefore you should be ok

Hello all,

I am in the process of applying to BU as well & was waiting for exam day to take the hesi & upload the unofficial report & submit. I was informed by faculty that if you took the Hesi at BU then you would not need to have official scores sent because they'll already have your scores on file so that would serve as official. If taken at a prometric center you would have to order through evolve which takes 7-10 business days. I asked about the official score report being received after the deadline one lady said no & the other said I/you should be fine. I wasn't reassured by the different answers so I scheduled at BU to avoid issue. I was also told that because NursingCAS can take 4-6weeks to finish verifying once you pay & submit your application it becomes visible to them & they start reviewing it. Hopefully that helps out a little.

I took the test at Prometric and they give you a copy of your scores and you can use your password the upload the file with your scores. When you signed up for the HESI, you had to put in a code through Evolve. If you used the Baylor instructions, you put in their code and it will be sent directly to them. If you did not, use your evolve password to upload your scores and attach it to "Test Scores" in the Nursing CAS.
