Our hospital retired our weekend only option about five years ago. As I was browsing indeed, I'm seeing more and more jobs advertising a true Baylor (work 24/paid 36). Most are Hospice/dialysis/skilled nursing) but I've also seen hospitals (UAB and Lexington Medical) starting to advertise them as well. Are any other facilities out there moving back that way? With turnover being what it is in many places, I imagine it would do wonders for retention (versus the $2-4 weekend differentials that exist most places). Just wondering what you guys are seeing in your facilities.

our weekend option (which I have been for 8 years) is the weekend plus another day, of my choice. There is a weekend differential and then, I think a $2 extra for the commitment to work every weekend.
I can't believe they have started true Baylor recs!

We do not have true Baylor Plan (work 24. get paid for 36). Ours is a $17.50/hr premium for Weekends Only contract. We have three options: Weekends Only (Sa/Su), Weekends Only +8 hrs, and Weekends Only +12 hrs. You get the Premium pay only on your weekends, not your extra shift.
