Does anyone know how the Graduate Nurse Permit works? If we get it and it lasts 6 months right? So even if we were to fail the NCLEX the first time (we won't ?), our pay wouldn't decrease until after the graduate nurse permit expires?

A graduate permit is done as soon as NCLEX results are processed. It is either you failed to demonstrate minimum competency as a nurse and cannot work as a nurse, or you do demonstrate minimum competency as a nurse and are issued a full license. Grad permits are only to bridge between school and taking NCLEX.
