Baylor Scott & White Fall 2024 Nurse Residency

Published

Started a thread for those who applied to Baylor Scott & White for the Fall 2024 cohort!

Can someone share why they chose Baylor? I'm out of state and have done my research but I wonder why locals chose Baylor.

has anybody else accepted an offer for BUMC?

Has anyone heard back after interviews for the McKinney location or know if we'll get notified if we got the job?

For those that have accepted an offer and are comfy answering my question LOL what was the starting hourly pay?

Hi did anyone apply for Irving ED? Have y'all heard back?

Does anyone know if Baylor requires new hires to take their NCLEX before starting?

Hi! I believe you have 60 days after the start date to take and pass the NCLEX. In order to start w/o having your NCLEX done, you must have a GN (grad nurse) permit given by the TBON.. I believe!

someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Has anyone heard back after finishing the pre-hire onboarding?

for my specific unit, I haven't heard anything but the BUMC GNs have a virtual meet and greet on the 10th.. I think that's about it
