Baylor June 2014 New Grad Internship

Published

I have recently submitted my application for Baylor's New Grad Internship. I applied for med/surd, progressive care and critical care. I would have applied for more but they said to limit choices to three specialties. Has anyone else applied?

So, nobody has heard back regarding critical care yet? I also checked ER as an interest and I haven't heard anything back from them either.

So if we don't hear back from a recruiter or receive a rejection letter does that mean we don't have any more chances for applying to Baylor until the next round of internships (which I don't even know when)?

I applied to 3 positions as well and have not heard back yet. I am assuming they have not contacted many people yet?

Well I just received my rejection letter for med/surg. I still haven't heard anything from Progressive or Critical Care.

I received my rejection for telemetry. But it haven't heard anything about ER.

I also applied for the Parkland internship and residency, but nothing so far.

So frustrating!

I just received an email for a phone interview to med/surg. So I just found out that instead of applying to the ER I applied to med/surg :( Oh well...I guess that's what happens when you submit an application in a rush at the last minute.

I just received one for med-surg as well. I think they're slowly getting around to people.

Hello all!

I applied for ER and Critical Care the first day applications were up. I have not heard anything for either yet. I graduate from a local BSN program in May. Too early to start worrying :)

I applied to Critical, Neuro ICU, and NICU. No rejection letter, but no phone call either. I got my BSN in August but would like to return to critical care- I externed/tech'ed in ICU for 18 months prior to graduation but turned down the RN job because of interest in another specialty. Ooops.

Fingers crossed....

Well, I just got my rejection letter regarding the ER. Bummer, bot it's ok.

Good luck to the rest of you :)

I received a rejection email from the ER last night. I suspect that the ER had a ton of applicants so I'm not too discouraged by it. Since many people got rejection letters for critical care a couple weeks ago, I'm hoping that no news is good news. Fingers crossed!

Has anyone been offered a job for the Baylor Internship? if so where?
