  1. So far from my class, we have several people that have heard back pretty early from ICU positions and med-surg/tele positions. If you are concerned about your application status you can contact your recruiter and see if they know of any information. I called mine and they said the positions were still opened and the hiring people were still considering. She said everybody should get a response by the beginning of May.
  2. For people that have been hired/know ppl that were hired alrdy, how long was the waiting period before u were notified of an offer? And if there was no offer made do they still call/email u to let you know u were rejected? I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for a response since my interview with a hiring manager and still havent heard back yet. Feeling really anxious and discouraged =\.
  3. I just received one for med-surg as well. I think they're slowly getting around to people.
  4. So if we don't hear back from a recruiter or receive a rejection letter does that mean we don't have any more chances for applying to Baylor until the next round of internships (which I don't even know when)?
  5. Last week guys! *fingers crossed*
  6. It seems like either they are kind of slow distributing the awards or there may be problems. Bc judging from this forum only a handful of ppl actually got the award and a lot of people are still waiting to hear back. Hopefully they let us know within the next 2 weeks!
  7. Me too! Did u get any credit checks yet?
  8. For people that are confused about when they are getting the scholarship and if you will have to take loans out to meet your tuition deadline, i think you can talk to your financial aid office and tell them that you are a recipient and that they will be giving out the award on a certain date, they may just wait it out and not charge you late fees or go through the trouble of taking out loans etc. And YES someone from Texas did receive the scholarship already!!
  9. I really don't know how they are going about picking people either. Because it seems like its all over the regions now, and people have different EFCs and GPAs. Did you guys that got the scholarship submit your application early? Because I submitted mine pretty late! My EFC is 0, GPA 3.65, Texas, no credit checks yet =/
  10. What does the FTE and #short stand for? if it has a #short of 0 does it mean they are not taking people even though they have a level above 14?
  11. @jennanwarren, can you provide a link to the facilities we can look for? Thanks!
  12. What state are you from or going to school in? Congrats!
  13. For all the newcomers that said they got the acceptance email, can you guys tell us what state you are in and what EFC? thanks! and congrats!!
  14. Maybe by region??? Didn't they divide the regions by color or something last year? or was that for something else? so maybe they are checking the east coast right now: since Tennessee and Massachusetts have checks! I'm in Texas, so fingers crossed for a check by the end of this week or early next week!
