Hi! Haven't seen a thread yet about this so thought I'd start! Anyone out there applying for 2016 LHSON Fastbacc program?? Anyone have interviews yet? How did your HESIs go?

Hey there emily I am applying for the 2016 FastBacc program at Baylor.

To answer your questions, I had my interview this week and I think it went fine about 8 or 9 questions that were asked in a one on one interview, wasn't to stressful. My GPA for my application is overall 3.36 and a Science GPA of 4.00, HESI combined score of 94.5%..so hopefully that's good enough to get in.

Hey guys,

I am also applying for FastBacc 2016, I did my interview a couple of weeks ago and I`m now waiting to hear from school. My overall GPA is 3.77 and science GPA is 4.0 and . My Hesi score is 88%. I hope it is good enough...

Oh that's awesome. Sounds like you both have a great chance! My science GPA is a 4.00, but I still have 2 sciences left to finish. My overall is 3.45. HESI Math was 100% and English 97%......my cumulative was an 86% but sciences don't count, right?? My interview was a couple of weeks ago and I think it went well! Does anyone know when we should hear back?

Emily,

I was told hopefully we will hear sometime before thanksgiving if all goes well.

Hello Guys,

Check your emails.

Yay! That was fast! I got in! How about you guys?

Congratulations. I got in as well.I have to turn in all the paperwork, finish a couple of classes and hopefully will see you guys in February for Orientation.

Hi, I applied for the fast bacc' program and have been scheduled for an interview next week 12th. Just a clarification, you guys already got acceptance letters to the program?

Hello all :] I have an interview next week and I was just wondering what types of questions they asked you? How was the interview overall?

I had my interview Oct. 27th and received my acceptance letter today. The interview was relaxed, it was one-on-one. Basic job interview questions. I think why you're choosing nursing and what you'd like to do with your BSN were asked. Good luck!

I got my acceptance letter yesterday . I am so excited!!! I did not know they were still conducting interviews. Like Sarabeth said, basic questions:

- Why do you want to be a nurse

-How do you resolve conflicts

-What qualities do you think a nurse should have?

-Why are you interested in our program?

-Be also prepared to discuss your learning style.

It was one-on-one, very relax.
