Bayada Peds

Hello fellow nurses! I just recently accepted a position with Bayada pediatrics. I haven't worked home care or pediatrics before (I currently work labor & delivery full time) and was studying the book for the test they give but was wondering how in depth it gets? It seems a majority of the book is a review of systems with a focus on the chronic illnesses they see most in ped home care. Has anyone taken this test that can give me some insight on how detailed/difficult it is? Any input is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Everything that is in the book is on the test; the test is not that difficult because most of the information is a refresher of what one knows from nursing school and has been a nurse, and it's a pretty straightforward test.

Thanks for your reply! I think what has me nervous is all the numbers. I was just reading over the respiratory section & it gets nitty gritty with ages 0-1 resp rate is this ages 5-7 rr is this etc etc. anything specific like that on this test? The systems review is fine I'm good on my a&p lol

Most agencies they will review your answers and remediate. You can often retest as needed
