Bauder College Pleasant Surprise

U.S.A. Georgia

So I had a VERY NEGATIVE initial contact with this college. Through just ONE conversation it's apparent that this school is a for-profit. After calling the school I was transferred to their Atlanta campus...The guy answered the phone "are you coming to a information session" which COMPLETELY through me off....no hello, thank you for calling Atlanta...blah blah etc.. it was INFO session info session. He continued to cut me off, avoid all questions. and even got SNAPPY with me. Their customer service is absolutely a turn off and I don't believe this school will be a top choice for me. smh some people do not need to be in customer service... I could NOT believe this guy. Take a PTO day if you don't want to work.

I completed the LPN program at Bauder College in Atlanta, GA. I graduated in Feb, took and passed boards in May and start my new job tomorrow! It was a wonderful experience and don't regret it one bit. Don't let people discourage you. Stick to your plan and follow thru.

Congrats to you!

Can anyone provide me more insight about the KTP test? Are there any additional ways to study beyond the guide the college provides? I am not to good in Math so I am nervous about passing the exam for the RN ADN program.

There is a Kaplan entrance exam study booklet that is like 20 dollars from any book store but I think the study guide they issued should suffice

I have a question for HopefulNurse2011 and shells0703. For the first graduating class you guys said 10 people passed the NCLEX. Out of those 10 people how much were offered jobs and where? I'm just really worried because majority of job postings that I've browsed around (a few big hospitals including Wellstar, Atlanta medical center, Dekalb regional healthcare, gwinett medical center, etc) are only accepting applicants from accredited nursing programs.

And are internships hard to acquire?

We are accredited. We have our initial accreditation which is what matters when jobs say accredited. Last I heard only maybe. 1 or 2 aren't practicing as a RN.

Specializes in Critical Care, ED, Cath lab, CTPAC,Trauma.

I thought Bauder only had an initial approval and not accredited yet? It was on board of nursing for georgia website. It was a list of approved schools in georgia and most were accredited except for some like bauder, her zing, chamberlain, chattahochee tech, Augusta tech, etc. do you know where those RNs are working at(hospice, hospital, spinal rehabilitation, etc)

Please help me I'm going to take my wonderlic test this monday don't know what to expect .some advice will greatly appreciated.thank you

Im guessing you already took it but this question has been answered before. It is simple math and english. Nothing you havent seen before if you took high school math
