Baton Rouge General School of Nursing applicants 2016 class

Hi everyone,

Are there any nursing applicants for the 2016 year? Also, for those who have applied and been accepted, I have a few questions about my application. I have a 2.7 GPA with the prerequisites, I know that's not good but it was from a while ago when I was at LSU and I don't have the money to read take these classes, however I made an 87.7 on the TEAS test and I currently work for the hospital as well as I have volunteered through the hospital as well. Has anyone gotten in with a low GPA before? Any feedback would be very much appreciated. THANKS

I Got a letter from brgson and she said since we had the flood it will be like late October. Did u take your teas yet.

yes. I made a 70. I didn't get the letter so I rushed to take my test before the Aug. 31 deadline.

I'm sorry I had fell asleep. We had discussed about the acceptance letter and again I was wrong she had emailed everybody and told us not mailed. I also noticed that they calculated 2 gpa's. 1 for 5 classes and 1 for the 7 classes. Do u know of someone who is already in the program.

Hi everyone! Congrats to those who were accepted! I will be applying July 2017 to the program and just had a few questions for those who got in! 1) I have a 3.25 GPA in the required pre-reqs, is this too low? 2) WITH the 3.25, what is your personal opinion on a good test score (that would be like a 90% chance on being accepted) to set as a goal? 3) What materials did you use to prepare for your exam?

Hello we haven't received the denial or acceptance letter yet . Your GPA is good. I made a poor test grade. All I can tell u is to keep studying

well for me I didn't study thinking I could take the test twice. I only have a GPA of 3.6. But maybe someone else will respond to you.

Does anyone know how the class schedule and clinical schedule usually are set up at BR general?
