Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) 2018 Applicants

Hi there, I am creating this topic in hopes of connecting with some BRCC pre-nursing students that applied for the 2018 program. I am quite nervous about my GPA and HESI.

I have a 3.19... which I guess is just a 3.1. LOL! I have a B in English and a C in Math. I am currently taking A&P in hopes of getting an A (which will give me a 3.4) but that is seeming to be impossible. I am taking my HESI at the end of the month. I do not feel confident about getting into the program. Is there any advice from those who have not gotten in or been in a similar situation? Even though my GPA is low I am a very dedicated student and really hope to be a part of the 2018 BRCC team. If anyone is having doubts please know you are not alone. Share your GPAs and HESI scores or some fears you have with the program if you want. Thank y'alll
