base salary

I am about to take a travel assignment in Las Vegas. I am wondering what the base pay rate in Vegas is for an RN with one year experience (non traveler pay). I guess it would be helpful if anyone has worked in Vegas as med/surg travel nurse to let me know what they started out at. Thanks!

Go to www.salary.com.

Travel assignment pay is very different from staff pay. And that is no matter where you work in the US.

I am going to move this to the Travel Forum as it has more to do with that, and more so with the agency that you are planning to travel with and how they do the breakdown of your pay and travel expenses.

Never look at salary alone. Will not help at all.

Salary.com is always way off. You would have to reduced their estimate a bit.
