Base Pay for New Grad in Atlanta

Published

I am graduating this year from GSU. I will have my RN-BSN!

I was wondering if anyone can give me any insight to what base pay I can definitely expect at hospitals in the Atlanta area, as I am trying to budget to figure out what I can afford for housing when I graduate!

If anyone has any information on shift diff's I would be interested to know!

Thanks in advance!

About $24 hr

shift diff around $2-4 for nights

@maddstein....I will graduate in May with my BSN as well and relocating from New Orleans and appreciate your question because I need the same info. Do you or anyone else have any insight about residency programs at Piedmont, Emory, Wellstar and Northside hospitals? As a result of not hearing from recruiters from Atlanta, any insight is welcomed!

Specializes in MICU.

Would anyone know the average at Piedmont for a new RN?

Hi! I am thinking to apply to GSU's RN to BSN program. How is the program like? Were you working through the program?

Would anyone know the average at Piedmont for a new RN?
I know for ED the base pay is $29 an hour. However, the other specialties I assume are a bit lower such as Med-surg. I would guess probably $26 or 27 an hour. Either way Piedmont pays very well for new grads out of all the other metro Atlanta hospitals.
