Hi all! This thread hasn't been started that I see. I am looking ahead at schools to apply this this next year. Barry is one of them. I'm having trouble locating a 600 level chemistry course... I haven't found a local university that teaches grad level chemistry with lab. If they do, I have to take some of their pre req classes.  Which would put me back in applying a lot.
I called the office and I was told there are schools that do it, however I was not able to get any names. Any help or someone that can provide further explanation? None of the online schools teach graduate chemistry as well.
It seems they just changed this requirement in the middle of last years application cycle- per other threads.  They used to be okay with just general chem.

"Successful completion (grade B or better) of one graduate-level college chemistry course (600 level and above) with a laboratory component. The course (not laboratory component) must have been taken within five years of beginning the Program. Organic chemistry or biochemistry is strongly preferred. In addition, one previous additional science/mathematics course (examples include anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, physics, genetics, statistics, and algebra) is required"

Has anyone heard anything yet? Any calls?

Hi everyone, when you do the transcript entry, you are supposed to enter the Program Requirements only which are the chemistry class, chemistry lab, and additional math or science class, or you have to put the whole transcript. thank you.

per the nursingcas website, it says this "NEEDS TRANSCRIPT ENTRY FOR PREREQUISITES ONLY: To submit to these programs you will need to enter prerequisite course information only in the Transcript Entry section."..so you should only have to put your prerequisite classes. that is also what I did and my application has been verified.

Hi everyone! I'm so shocked that no one has heard anything back yet, I was told that last year they interviewed a certain amount of people every month until they were filled. Very nervous but hands crossed we hear something soon

I'm waiting as well, I messaged (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) to see as to when we would hear something back but still waiting for a response. Best of luck to all 💕

When I spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) early May she said that the month of a May would be busy with class 2025 graduation and onboarding of the new class starting. So hopefully any day now they should start reviewing applications. Good luck everyone.

I submitted mine today guys. How long does it take to be verified?

Do you think a general chem 1 & 2 class would be good enough? It says it strongly recommends biochemistry but not required

I know in the past general chemistry fulfilled the chemistry requirement but I think you should do the biochemistry or organic chemistry to stand out.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if they start sending interviews now even though the deadline for the application is November?  Thanks in advance!
