Hi everyone
I am a little confused and hope you can help me. I was thinking about applying to Barry's Accelerated program. I looked at their site and all the info however it says no repeats, well i had a c in one of my science courses and retook it and received an A. At the time i originally took this course i was not planning on majoring in Nursing so i did bare minimum but it seems its coming back to hunt me. So my question is since i have a repeat should i just forget about Barry? or do you know of anyone who has gotten in with a repeat? Also the only classes that are required in order to apply are the science courses since i already have a BS? thanks for any and all info you may provide.

Thanks so much for the info! This is somewhat frustrating, since I'm planning on applying to several schools, and it seems like for each one there is a separate admissions test.... so much for getting a "summer break" before I finish my pre-reqs next semester! Is Barry the only school you're applying to?
Ok i could not find the paper they gave me at the session, but i knew it was a site so here is the info. www.prometric.com/elsevier u must score at least an 80%. If you have more questions the contact person is David Craddock 1800-950-2728 x6929 this is the site to register.
I think the book coincided a lot with the test. But it was more like a refresher, it had general concepts, nothing too in detail. That is how I saw it, but it may be different for others. I used the book and let a friend use it as well and both of us did pretty well, I think it's worth buying.
Hi! My friend still has the book so I don't have the isbn, but here is a link to the book on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Evolve-Reach-Admission-Assessment-Review/dp/1416056351

I attended their information session on 7/16 they passed the paper out regarding the test but it was not really discussed other then the effective date. It was not the NET at least thats not what they are calling it, from what i recall you have to take it at their school unlike the NET you can take it elsewhere and then bring proof of your grade. When i get home tonight i'll look for the the paper.
