I am just curious to how the experience of those who attended the Nursing program went? And also the tuition, how expensive was it?

For me the program is not that bad compared to other school and the horror stories you here. The only major draw back about Barry is the tuition it is $14k per semester but for a BSN program that is not horrible but everyone's financial situation is different
Ok, let me ask you, where do you get your clinicals done? Is it far from the school? Do you think those in the same clinical group would give another student a lift if they have no transportation?
Clinical sites vary. In the first semester, which is foundations, Barry usually goes to memorial, Broward General, jackson, north shore, miami Jewish home etc. Clinical's are picked at random but you do have the chance to switch with another person. As for other students carpooling it all depends on who is in your clinical group and how nice they are.
hopefully, there is someone nice enough. it'll probably be much better in the north shores. So how is the assignments? are there group projects? are the professors very caring towards the students performance? are you living on campus?
Overall the program is good but you do have to work hard. It's nursing so it won't be easy. Most of the professors are caring but you have some that do not care about students performance you either get the information or you don't. As far as group projects that comes with certain courses.
Ok, one last question, does clinical starts 2-3 weeks after classes begin? Let's say I start in January, would I do clinical in February?
Yes the first semester Clinicals usually start the beginning of February.
Ok thanks
Your welcome! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. We are on winter break so I'm bored lol
are you in the baptist scholarship program?
No because I started the program in January. The Baptist scholars program is only offered in the fall.
