Barry university, fall 2014

Has anybody applied for admissions to barry university in Miami, Fl for fall 2014?

I received a letter today saying I am fully accepted as a student to barry university. But idk if that means I am fully accepted into the nursing program. Anybody else got this letter?

It means you were accepted into the university, not the program

Hello everyone, my name is Sophia and I had an application at Barry University since 2012. But I never did submit my transcript. I kcal led the university several times to ask them If there is a deadline to complete everything in order to be considered for the fall term, and they said that I still can submit my transcript for evaluation and I should be okay. I just submitted my official transcript on Friday July 18, and my admission counselor told me that they were moving students to the spring term meaning that the class starting this Fall might be full. Can anyone tell me what they know about this? Is any of you starting this Fall at Barry? When did you get your acceptance letter? Thank you guys.

The semester is over I'm headed into the third semester of the program. I am here to answer any questions to the best of my ability. I got accepted for the spring class. I know the fall semester is a little more different because there are more applicants.

I believe that all the applicants for Fall have been notified maybe you did not turn in your transcript early enough but the spring semester is less competitive because there is less applicants.

Right. I submitted my transcript late. I have an appointment with **** on the 4th. Do you think that I have a shot for the fall semester anyway? Because I have all my prerequisites.

I'm not sure, maybe if a Fall applicant deferred or gave up their seat you have a chance.

Let us know what happened. I submitted everything on time, but the transcript evaluator at Barry haven't even evaluated my transcript. So I wasn't part of the application pool for fall. smh :arghh:

I got accepted into pre nursing and have an appointment with an advisor. When I called the nursing department to ask them why do they put me in pre nursing because I have all my prerequisites. She said that every nursing applicant get into pre nursing first then after their interview with an advisor the final decision will be determined. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you. I don't think it's too late for you

Hi! so were you accepted into the fall term? I just applied and my status online says spring 2015 pre nursing. I just submitted my transcripts today. Im missing my microbiology lab. Do you think I should take it now? Im not sure if bio-ethics is another class in dade that I may have taken.

Yes all pre-reqs must be done Before you can start.If you have less than 3 classes in progress then you can receive conditional acceptance but they must be finished to begin the program. The only class you do not have to worry about is Biomedical Ethics because it is only offered at Barry and students can take that while in the program.
