Has anybody applied for admissions to barry university in Miami, Fl for fall 2014?

Im transferring from miami.dade college. How about you? Whats your overall gpa and science gpa?

There is no entrance test but upon acceptance there will be Basic math test at orientation and also the EAT which is a reading/writing assessment test.

How hard is the basic math test And the reading and writing test is it time limited? And what if you do bad on those test? Would they deny you? Dont tell me they choose between who do better on those test.

Once your accepted the basic math is not too hard.If you do not do well on it your able to take it over again. It just prepares you for dosage math. The EAT is timed if you do not pass you have to take a reading tutorial. Neither the math or EAT prevents you from been in the program it just evaluates your skills level.

Good to know......sounds like nova......lol.....anyway by any chance do you know if they interview you ? And how long does it take for them to tell you, youve been accepted.

They only interview you if you apply for the Baptist Scholars program. Barry mostly looks at gpa and having the required pre-reqs. Just be prepared you have to work hard especially the first semester. I am in Med-Surg 1 right now and many students who started with me did not make it to the second semester.

Anyone waiting for acceptance letters after June 30? According to my nursing advisor miss terri Navarro stayed that the final pool of applicants committee meeting will be on June 30 and after that day we will know the status of our acceptance. I'm a nervous wreck

Sharon Lear said that today tomorrow through Friday they will be given us answers and if not after Friday then that means we didn't get accepted. So fingers crossed to all of us and let god be with u:) we all need to have faith and be positive
