Thank you!
Last 60 GPA 3.77
Science 3.6
1.8 yr Neuro/Trauma ICU
GRE - quant 144 verbal 150 (I have to retake quant)
CCRN, Preceptor, volunteer work, ex military
they grilled me a lot about my quant GRE score and how I did not have 2 years yet but I'd have 2.5 by program start so that was my saving grace.

Once My application was received will all materials (aug 10) I called (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to make sure everything was good to go. She forwarded the application to the committee and I got a phone call the following week on thurs (aug 17)

Amazing! I just started on a neurosurgical ICU, so this is giving me hope! And I thought Barry only required one year experience?

You're right they do! It's the minimum experience however. Same with GPA they have a minimum GPA of 3.2 to apply, but I believe from the info session the average student at Barry got in with 2.5 yr experience and 3.5 + GPA. Like someone explained to me if you're up against 200+ qualified applicants it's a matter of what makes you competitive. 2+ yr is what most schools have like to see but everyone is different. Just in my particular interview I was asked by 3 different faculty members about this, I've only been a nurse in general for 1.8 yr in ICU. Im sure they take a lot into consideration however overall ?

I'm still waiting on a response as well. I received the notification that all of my materials were sent in and received by Barry on 9/11. I still check My Barry fairly frequently to ensure I don't miss out on an interview opportunity. I called and followed up with everybody in admissions and it finally showed up that I have applied.
If anyone else has heard anything after September applications please let us know. Feels like life is on hold. ?
The admissions specialist quit along with the administrative assistant and about 8 professors. They have replaced the admissions specialist, but it will likely take her some time to acclimate to the position. Especially since she is also responsible for the credentialing of current students. I would expect notification delays

That's not good, how do you know this ? Have they replaced the professors ?

Yes, this is accurate, I spoke with admissions yesterday. She said things have been very crazy around there and expect to have an answer in 1-2 weeks. I have also confirmed from current students about a month ago that they're having a huge faculty turnover.
