RIGHT? I'm just finishing up A&P II (took my prereqs >10 yrs ago). I was going over the website again and saw that. IDK how this affects those who applied early in the cycle? Because I'll be applying in July, I gotta take the 600 level course? yeesh.

@Shura_ I think just about any chemistry is accepted as long as it's a 600 level/graduate chemistry.

So is the 600 level chemistry supposed to be only offered outside of community colleges?

Community colleges only go to the 200 level.

I personally feel there is no way to have a 600 level Chemistry with lab component as graduate level course does not offer that way. Hope someone knows what to do.

Just received an acceptance. Good luck to everyone, keep pushing!

Congrats! How long do they give you to secure your seat/pay your deposit?

Hi all,

I had my interview today. I think it went really well. Now it's the waiting game. Hoping for the best. How long do they give you to pay the deposit?

Would you be so kind to share (without specifics) what are we expecting from these interviews ?

I am quite horrible at interview and last year I didn't get into school because I bummed my interview 😞 any tips will be much appreciated !

For me, it was primarily emotional intelligence. I had a couple of questions on one clinical scenario.

Did anyone message and ask them about the chemistry requirement if the graduate level chemistry applies to us? I'm finishing up Biochemistry and I don't want to take another chemistry course 😞 Just figured I'd ask here before I email them

During my interview today, the Director said I was all good with my chemistry and I met the requirements. I only have Gen Chem 1.

I had my interview also today and there was not mention about my chemistries. I have Chem 1, biochemistry and organic chem. All of them are undergraduate chemistry.

I agree that it is very hard to get a graduate level chem. Even for medical and PA school you only need undergraduate chemistry. I don't know how people will meet this requirement.
