I finished my ASN in December, it's been really difficult to find something this Spring for Residency in Miami. I don't have PCT or Student nurse experience but I do have amazing customer service and leadership background. Do you have any recommendation for me?

Trying to think! I believe having your BSN does help and the experience as a student nurse completing clinicals and a capstone.

They just updated the portal saying not selecting department and they send a direct email

Has anyone heard from the program starting on the 24th regarding schedule, what to expect, what to prepare or possible get? Meaning other than HR and setting everything up.

I have emailed but they don't get back quickly.

I have a different start date. How long did it take to be cleared after you submitted everything?

It took some time! But I got clearance after I took my exam and started this past Monday.

Thank you, I'm waiting to be assigned an exam. I hope you're enjoying your first week. Couple of questions if you don't mind. Is your badge vertical or horizontal? Navy scrubs?

Yes, so thats probably what they are waiting for. I took my exam 3/19 and started getting info as soon as I got my results the next day. Every unit has their own scrub requirements. I am navy on navy and I get my badge Monday for our first in person so I can let you know then. This week is all via zoom for me.
