Hello, I recently applied to baptist for fall 15' . I didn't see any active threads so decided to create a new one. I was curious on how long it'll take to get any type of letter and afraid on would I get accepted. I made A's in anatomy 1&2 I made a B in microbiology. So my science are great and I have a low gpa 3.1 but i have heard of people getting accepted on a 3.0 but also heard people get wait listed with a 3.3. I just want some insist on how the process goes. I'm sure there are others in the same boat as me. My application been complete for almost a month now and haven't heard anything. Is that a bad sign?!
I think one of you should help me! I'm currently taking Patho with Hooker, and i'm failing all quizzes and even failed the first test! I guess coming from Northwest, he asks his questions differently and it is very confusing. I'm so nervous about the next test because the acid-base questions are killing me! Getting a B in this class is the only thing that is standing between me progressing in the summer.
Hey guys. So one of my teachers said that Micro isn't included in our science GPA to get accepted into the program. I thought this was just to good to be true since I'd gotten a C in it at southwest and was dreading retaking it. However, I looked at the nursing curriculum on the BCHS website and I no longer see micro as a requirement! Does anyone know anything about this? Should I still retake micro? Have you guys heard anything about the change?
Hello! I applied 2nd week of March of this year and received an acceptance letter the last week of May. They say it is really competitive. Considering your college and high school GPA, I think your chances are good. I'm not sure how or if they'll factor your ACT score in though. I don't think they used mine, (this may have been due to the fact I already have a degree). Best of luck!!! You can always contact Chris Cotton as well, if you have any additional questions. I called him when I first applied and asked him about my chances and he was really helpful :)
Hey guys! Question. How long did it take for you to get a letter saying if you were accepted or not? And how competitive is the school? I'm in my first year of college and I'm transferring over. I have a 4.0 in college right now, and 3.2 in HS and a 19 on the ACT. How are my chances?
It take up to about a month to get a acceptance letter. They will tally in your ACT since you don't have over 30 credits hours. It took a while to get mines
