U.S.A. Tennessee

Published

Hello, I recently applied to baptist for fall 15' . I didn't see any active threads so decided to create a new one. I was curious on how long it'll take to get any type of letter and afraid on would I get accepted. I made A's in anatomy 1&2 I made a B in microbiology. So my science are great and I have a low gpa 3.1 but i have heard of people getting accepted on a 3.0 but also heard people get wait listed with a 3.3. I just want some insist on how the process goes. I'm sure there are others in the same boat as me. My application been complete for almost a month now and haven't heard anything. Is that a bad sign?!

I suggest looking on ratemyprofessor.com that's how I've always chosen my teachers (:

I will probably will end up going somewhere else...I have a busy life and don't have time for mandatory chapel and community service. Also they do not have normal breaks as other schools. I wish you all the best of luck and I have applied to LSON at UoM.

Good luck on your future endeavors with whatever school you decide to go with!

To those that have orientation tomorrow, please be sure to let us know how it goes! lol! :)

Do you have orientation Saturday? If so, I'll see you there!

I do! See you then!

How was orientation for everyone? Is everyone happy with their classes/schedules

Yess. Orientation was a dragggg. Omg and overall I'm okay I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to take McDonald or hooker I registered for both i have to decide on which one I'm going to drop. Cause I'm totally confused.

I'm taking McDonald for patho. I was torn on who to take as well but the advisor I was paired with chose and I've herd good gongs about her so I just went with it. It's also a "pulse" class so we'll see how that goes

I'm taking her too.

Hi! I'm a current student at Baptist, and I start clinicals in the spring. If you're still wondering, I just took Hooker for Patho. I would highly recommend him! I look McDonald for A&P1 Lab, and while she is very good, she is very hard. Hooker is a little more personable and I walked out of there feeling confident that I retained the info. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand it if you ask for help.

Yay! That makes me feel a little better. I'm taking Hooker's Patho Pulse class. Best of luck to everyone this semester! I'm sure we'll all do great (:
