Not yet, but I start on 4/27 at Banner Thunderbird in Glendale. My company took care of the housing for me. I did check out the local options before they told me they had their own real estate agent and I accepted the house they were leasing for me. In Glendale there are 3 major schools/ universities, so short term/corporate housing is plentiful and you can get it furnished in any of the bigger places I checked out. They looked reasonable money wise, but b/c I'm flying out I would've asked my company for the housewares pkg (included for me) and would have had to pay utilities if my company didn't kick in, b/c they aren't included.

They said that a LOT of students live there, so don't know about noise, but they all have 24 fitness centers, pool, jacuzzi, business center and pretty much anything you could want.

It looks like a place where you could at least have ppl who might be cool to hang out with. If you don't want to sit at home and you are into nightlife, it could be perfect.

However, if you work days, or overnights, there's a possibility that it might get loud, just like any other place with a bunch of ppl in a small area. So light sleepers might want to check with the management.

I read the avg rent is about $800/mo, which to me is cheap.

banners ok for a traveler..im staff but not at banner...i couldnt do staff at banner but the facilities arent bad...its a beautiful area im sure you will love it..and none of their housing is bad
