I just signed up for this site... hi everybody...I'm 21 years old, with a 6 month son and a husband. I left them for awhile so that I could get my nursing career started, I am currently finishing my prerequisites. I miss them terribly and imagine leaving your baby, I know it's awful but what other choices do I have? I have a LONG LIFE STORY OF TRAGEDY...DONT WE ALL AND HARDSHIP...so I'm going to do it this way...I am going to do the LPN route. Please any information on schools in the San Leandro, CA area, Bremerton, WA area or the Wichita Falls, TX area would be of great help! I will finish all the prerequisites by summer 09 EXCEPT MICROBIOLOGY! I need a program you can get into, sign up, NOT WAIT MORE THAN 1 MONTH, a program that is 1 year or less AND I WILL COMMUTE UP TO AN HOUR...ANY ANGELS OR HEAVEN SENT MESSENGERS OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME...I DONT CARE THE COST...BUT ANYTHING THAT CAN HELP ME OUT!!!:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat:THANK YOU!

Unitek in Fremont - Not as good I heard, but is 11 mos. Very stressful.

Theres one at TJC in east texas it a year long and they have an AM and PM class very hardcore m-f lots of studying, but about 2 months before the graduation the have a job fair and hook you up with some of the local medical facilities looking to hire

btw the only preq. is intro to Anatomy and physiology or Anatomy 1 and 2
