Bakersfield College Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Starting this thread to hopefully get an idea of the point system at BC now that it's no longer a lucky hat. I'm applying for Fall 2018 and have applied for another program too. Have yet to take my TEAS 6, but I will soon. GPA is not too strong and I dont have a lvn license or paramedic... that gives +10 points. 😩

Congratulations to everyone who made it into the Fall 2018 cohort! Good luck in August, and good luck to those who are applying for Spring 2019 :)

Hello this is my first time on here. I hope i can get some inside on your guys experience. I did have a question and i was wondering if anyone could help. I am applying to the rn program for spring 2019 its will be my first time. On my application without teas i only have about 37 points...i dont have work experience because my years in college i was on dialysis and it was tough to get to where am at today. Any help on what to do or if i should still apply???

@nursegirl2020, CNA

how many points in your application did you apply with ?????

I would make an appointment with Venessa Reyes, she is the educational advisor for the BC nursing program.

Can somebody say the points they were accepted with??. Somehow when you ask other students they always have super high points but can't get in any program. I'm currently ICU CNA and I love my job. I Applied to BC FALL/2019
