Bacterial vaginosis?

okay so i dont know where else to go as i have finished my 8th round of flagyl and the bacterial vag has come back. I am trying boric acid capsules, does anyone know if this works? My doctor has also had my on yogurt suppositories, betadine douche, peroxide douche etc etc etc, nothing works for me, does anyone know of a combo or anything that works, the boric acid works for a while then as soon as i stop it reccurs, this has been going on now for 3 years...

also i am terrified of cancer.. will i get it if this isnt brought under control... please seriouse answers only..

Whoa... I think you seriously need a 2nd opinion. Have you tried another doctor? I know for BV theres usually Flagyl and I believe its Clindomyocin cream? But reoccuring BV could be a sign of something else. Not to be too personal but if youre sexually active it also could be from your partner. Not that men get BV, but they could not be clean enough and present bacteria which in turn gives you BV. Also check to see what soaps both of you are using, detergents, lotions, etc. This might be more than just BV... have you been checked for Trich? Hope it works out for you ... thats no way to live! Sorry youre going through that ....

Also one more thing, have a pelvic done ... you might have a dislodged tampon? I have seen this happen before.. and the pt. thought she had a yeast infection...
