Background check help

Hi everyone! I recently received an underage drinking ticket earlier this month. It has been dismissed. Will this prevent me from going into nursing school? (They background check after acceptance) I'm sure there are a few nurses out there with something minor like this. Please help. Thanks!

    Don't think this would be found in a background check. I think it's more on the lines of misdemeanors.

    I believe in my state it is considered a misdemeanor. However, it was dismissed because I was not guilty. So the dismissal should have no effect on me applying for school/NCLEX?
