I’m in the South Carolina Recoverinf Professionals Program post two arrests and one false report to the board. I’ve been compliant and just hit my 1 year sobriety date. I’m also on Probation until April but I did not lose my narcotic privlidges since nothing was narcotic related.

 

That being said, I decided to try to go back for my BSN at Western Governor’s online. I submitted everything they wanted and I made it clear to mh advisor what would show up with my background check (still doing community service). They were unhappy when they asked me where their school would be at on my priority list when I said “Behind my sobriety, children and current employment in that order.”

 

They said their admissions team has to review my case. Has anyone gone back to school and experienced difficulties?

Online schools want your money. If they don’t accept you a different one will. Good luck!
