Back from the Desert and Thankful-What are you thankful for?

Published

Hello to all,

I've recently returned from an all expenses paid vacation to the desert(just a little humor). I'm very grateful to be home this year and have the holidays home with my family. We take so many things for granted here in the US like running water, A/C. Things that are really creature comforts.

Just wanted to know, what are you truly grateful for this holiday season. Is it your family, a co-worker, a roof over your head?

Just wanted to say happy holidays to everyone at this wonderful web site. And if you know a family that has a mom, dad, sister, brother, uncle, aunt or any other family member that is deployed, let them know how grateful that their sacrifice is what is keeping you safe. Words of encourgement helped me to get through this past year.

Happy holidays to all!!!!!!!!

I am thankful for my wonderful supportive husband, and our three healthy sons.

I am thankful for the time, energy and brain power I was able to dedicate to passing nursing school, and then the N-CLEX.

I am thankful for the opportunity to use my new credentials in a field that I am good at, and enjoy. (although this varies some days...:uhoh3:)

I am thankful for military men and women serving all over the world, every single day. I am even more thankful when little brother (Air Force) arrives home safely after each tour - in the middle of one now...

I am thankful to live in a country that defends and values freedom.

Welcome home - and thank-you for serving our country! :balloons:
