Azusa Pacific University 2+2 BSN program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello future nursing students. Is there anyone applying for the nursing 2+2 BSN program for Summer 2017?It would be nice to chat with you guys about the BSN program.

I have a feeling I will have to get a private loan. I would just like to know now so I can take my time and do some research and see where I can get the best interest rates. But I have a feeling all thing is going to be done at the last minute.

We might be okay for the summer and fall semester on federal student loans, but starting spring we for sure will need private school loans. I have a feeling too, but I heard APU financial department is very helpful.

Hi guys, I have not received anything accept for the acceptance letter and not the formal one like Julie mentioned. I added APU to finaid website like Julie instructed but that's about it. Sharae, id would be nice if I can have those housing names you mentioned. Thank you so much

I was confused about that too. I got the acceptance letter, which looked pretty formal to me.

ame.cris here are some apartments that are in Victorville near school

1. Rancho Seneca (these are income restricted so ask about that, but they are new and nice)14779 Seneca Road

Victorville, CA 92392

(760) 621-5972

2. Mountain Vista Apartment Homes (I think these are the one's closest to school)15450 Nisqualli Road

Victorville, CA 92395

(760) 784-9548

3. The Colony at Victorville

14450 El Evado Rd, Victorville, CA 92392

(760) 241-0202

OK these are some apartments that are near school, BUT A WORD OF CAUTION some areas in the High Desert can be rough (as in ghetto, sorry don't know any other way to describe it), so before you rent an apartment make sure you look around the area in the day and night and see what kinds of people are around. There are also other cities up here that can be slightly nicer, but are a little more of a drive (like 15-45 mins depending on traffic). You can get on apartments.com and look in Apple Valley (on the Bear Valley side, not near HWY 18) or Hesperia.

Wow that worries me :( Sharae, you know any safe areas specifically? Also, how is sharing a room like? Is it safe?

The apartments I gave you were close to school and my house so I think those are safe. I just don't know who lives there so you would have to look around when you view the apartments. Honestly, nothing has ever happened to me and I moved up here from Long Beach 10 years ago. The only thing that has ever happened to me was someone has broken into some of my cars that were parked in my drive way. Usually the bad bad stuff happens to the people that (sorry to offend anyone here, just keeping it real) are ghetto, have no job, and live that kind of life so I think you'll be fine. Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, but I have never lived in an apartment up here so that's why I told you to look at the people who live there.

I did look up the areas before I started the search for housing, but to be honest, I was worried. But now the real info from someone lives there just freaks me out even more. I don't mind driving a bit further if I can find a good place to live. Is the Village area ok?

Village where? Like near Mojave? Give me some cross streets or the name of the building an I'll let you know.

It's like village rd and rancho rd I believe. Thanks a million Sharae! I keep looking and the more I look, the more freaked out I get lol

I don't really know that area well, but I think it's ok. are you looking on google maps? check your PM

Hey! I have been accepted for summer 2017! Is anyone looking for a roommate? I have been looking at different apartments and would prefer to not live alone!
